1) Don't neglect your feet
You travel every day by local transport and your poor feet are exposed to pollution and people stamp your footsies without sympathy. By the end of the day your feet still look ok in spite of it being dusty so you don't bother. But this abuse continues for days and eventually the skin of your feet is peeling off, it's bruised, and you can see ugly marks and painful blisters. If possible, wear close foot wear, moisturise your feet before you sleep and use an exfoliating scrub in the shower.
The sun can do a lot more damage to your skin than you think. You do not want to end up with flaking, tanned and spotted skin do you? Whether you are using a moisturiser or foundation, make sure they contain SPF of at least 20.
Expiry dates have their purpose! Make up should be replaced every six months. Using expired make up can create a lot of skin problems in the long and short run. Using expired make up can cause rashes and irritation to your skin.
There's nothing worse than a shade of red lipstick that does not suit you. Red is probably one of the trickiest shades. You can end up getting it right or horribly wrong. Don't just rush to the nearest make up store because Megan Fox used the same shade to look fab. Try shades from different make up brands and good luck finding 'your' shade.
Keep acne at bay by washing your face. Hop straight into the washroom after you get to work (or college) and wash your face. Make it an everyday habit. If your skin is oily then use a deep cleansing face-wash with or without lather. If your skin is dry then use a dry hydrating one by which I do not mean further drying with no lather.
Some of the best and easiest ways for clear and glowing skin are - sleeping for the right amount of time, oversleeping or less sleep can take a toll on your skin. Sleep for eight hours everyday, drink two liters of water and eat fruits as much as possible. Within weeks you will see the effects these have on your skin.
Hands are the first to show signs of ageing. Keep them soft and younger looking by massaging them with a moisturiser everyday. If you are the one in the house who does the washing after everyone is done with eating then your hands are prone to dryness especially with washing soap. To prevent this why not use washing gloves!
When washing your hair make sure you condition, massage your hair gently for sometime before you wash off the conditioner. Don't blow dry, curl or straighten your hair everyday, it will cause damage and split ends. And always remember to trim your hair at least once in every two months. Pick a treatment which could also be a protein or spa treatment depending on your hair type.
Why would you want to end up looking like a clown? Even though it's tricky, it's not impossible. All you need to know is when to stop using that brush and blush on your cheek bones. Remember blush is to enhance or highlight your cheekbones.
