8 ways in Winning Back Trust

Trust, to me, is a simple matter. It boils down to a pure essence, one that smells nothing like a rat. Trust is being where you’re supposed to be, when you're supposed to be, doing what you said you would do. In that respect, trust is just a series of repeat visits that coincide with the expectations of the truster, such that the truster doesn't have to be breathing down the other guy's neck eight days a week.
Trust is difficult to gain, but much more easily lost and almost impossible to win back. It can be lost through no fault of your own, such as by miscommunication or by bad timing. Another way to lose it is by getting sloppy and letting the quality of your work slide. Then there's losing trust by intentional deceit, like when Whitey Bulger informed the Feds that Howie Winter was fixing horse races. Imagine Mr. Winter trying to forgive and forget after 10 years in the clink.
A breach of trust is so difficult to forgive because trust is so vital to daily operations, and lifelong partnerships rely on it. But winning back trust is possible with the following methods.

Act early
Once you realize that you have betrayed someone's trust, tell the person yourself before someone else does. Put your hat in your hand, step onto the carpet and pipe up. Put some sugar on it and act humble. If the person you betrayed gets angry, take the tirade with style and make it known that you are taking off the cloak and dagger out of loyalty. In other words, grovel with dignity.

Be persistent
At first, you will probably be rebuffed by the person you let down. Even if someone says, "You're dead to me now," don't give up right away. If you grew up Catholic like everyone in my neighborhood did, you'll be feeling plenty guilty about your sins. Put that guilt to work by acting penitent. Don't let the last word be spoken in the heat of the moment. Go away for a while, and then come back once the initial anger has worn down -- the edge will be smoother a few days later. Look at all these cafone celebrities, for example. They make asses of themselves, then a week later, I see them smiling on the morning news while I'm trying to enjoy my coffee.
If you want to work in this town again, own up to your mistake…

Don't make excuses
This is especially important when the problem arose from something beyond your control. Most people have to gamble at times and operate in what my banker calls "the float." The float is when your account doesn't quite have the money you need just yet, but a check is in the mail, and you go ahead and make another deal as if you were solvent. You lie because business sometimes requires it.
The same thing happens with deliveries and timing. Let's say the bagman arrives much too late with the dough. In the interim, you have to cover the vacuum of missing money using your mouth. Promise confidently to fulfill your original promise. Deals fall through from time to time -- it's a part of life -- but when you have to tell someone that you lied, at least do it with clarity and dignity.

Learn from your mistakes
One reason Al Capone lasted as long as he did is that he surrounded himself with ironclad people who understood the meaning of omerta. If you are cast out to the east of your Eden, don't plunge into self-reflection; rather, learn from your mistake. Let your pride down for a moment so that the lesson gets tattooed in your brain.
Parents tell their kids to learn from others’ mistakes, not from their own. But anyone who has lived beyond the age of 40 can assure you of one thing: Mistakes will be made no matter what your intentions, just like history will repeat itself. Therefore, knowing that life will never be perfect, you should swallow the lesson of what it feels like to lose someone's trust and don't do it again.

Change your behavior
The person you betrayed has no compelling reason to believe your plea unless you show that you have changed. If the problem started because you weren’t paying attention to detail, then become a stickler. Perhaps you were spending more time chasing the girls around the maypole than working, so get back on the bricks every day until your feet hurt.
After a certain age, it becomes difficult to change, but a dire situation requires a new way of thinking. Plenty of guys have checked into Alcoholics Anonymous because they have lost trust. If booze or drugs are the stumbling blocks impeding your progress, figure out how to get out of that cycle.

Fix the process
Policies, traditions and routines are often flawed and prone to failure. If the system you are working in doesn't have the harmony of the planets, take measures to rectify the irregular parts of your business. Make suggestions to your boss about how to avoid having the same thing happen again. Sometimes it's only one trucker who is late; sometimes it's the whole trucking company. Cut the contract, trim the fat or do whatever you must to restore confidence in your end of the business. Rather than passing the buck and finding a cause for your misfortune, rethink the process so that it doesn't happen again.
Start climbing that ladder back up to the top…

Start climbing again
Keep your nose to the grindstone and your feet moving. Falling down a few ranks doesn't have to break your mind. A demotion is not the end of the world unless you want to roll over, but that's what goomahs are for. Wake up in the morning and start setting the world on fire -- but not like Frank Notarantonio did.

Get back up there
Regardless of how much remorse you feel or how willing you are to change, once people know about your temporary downfall, you will endure a period of sneers and jeers. So be it. In life, you might wash 10,000 windows, but people will only remember the one that you fell through. Self-doubt may eat at you, but if you work hard to prove yourself, the wisecracks will eventually stop. The betrayal will be forgotten by those knuckleheads, and the person you betrayed will begin to notice that you aren't such a deadbeat after all.

5 Mistakes Women Make With Men

For some women, sustaining a worthwhile relationship with a man is almost like trying to win the lottery. They have no trouble talking to men or even dating them, but for whatever reason they can not build enough attraction from their partners to keep them coming back for more. Here are some mistakes women make that can send a man running in the opposite direction.

Too Much Information

While it is important to get to know the person you are dating, some women simply don’t leave enough to the imagination. If you find yourself talking about family problems and old boyfriends on your first few dates, then chances are that you are guilty of revealing too much. The initial period of dating should be absolute bliss for both sides, and not dragged down by skeletons in the closet.

Not Enough Listening
It can be refreshing to meet new people and have the opportunity to share your opinions and dreams, just remember that your new man is also excited to the same. Taking control of the conversation or forcing your ideals on someone is not romantic. Make sure you provide adequate openings in your dialogue for responses. A simple way to make sure you are not taking over the spotlight is to ask your date questions. This will give them a chance to share their feelings without interrupting you.

Dishonesty

Some women become so self-conscious about themselves that they stretch the truth about everything from finances to outside interests. They want so badly to attract a good man that they believe saying what he wants to hear is the easiest route to take. Of course this strategy may work for the first few dates, but ultimately the truth will come out and you will be exposed. Being honest keeps your conscience clear and will help you meet someone with the same interests as you.

High Expectations

It is natural to be excited about the prospect of new love, but you have to be careful not to let expectations spoil the fun. Guys don’t want to hear about your plans for marriage and family life early in a relationship. You have to attract them with your personality and charm before they will even consider a second date. The bottom line is to let things progress naturally. Not only can expectations eliminate a perfectly suitable candidate, but they take the spontaneity out of romance.

Controlling Yourself

The big secret to making a man want you is creating a curiosity or mystery about yourself. You want him to fantasize about you and wonder which direction your romance will take him. For this reason you need to lead him along slowly. Control your passions and keep him coming back for more. Be patient to see if he will wait for you. If he does then you know you have the beginning of a strong attraction.

There is good reason why some women consistently falter with men while others seem to catch them like fish. It is all about presentation and focusing on the natural male desires. This means making him feel good about himself and keeping him guessing on what your next move will be. Avoiding mistakes like talking too much and creating ridiculous expectations will give you the opportunity to set this strategy in motion.

How to Analyse Your Relationship

Being able to judge whether your feelings are REAL LOVE can be difficult, especially as a teenager.

Questions that you might ask of your relationship include:

RESPECT
- Does he or she listen when you speak?
Does he/she know the things that are most important to you and vice versa?

EQUALITY
- What do you do together as shared interests?
Do you share each other’s friends?

AFFECTION
- Are there any signs of affection or kindness apart from sexual activity?

LOYALTY
- Is he/she loyal to you regardless of what his/her friends think and do?

LIBERATION
- Do you have someone to turn to apart from your boyfriend/girlfriend?
What is the future of your education and other life goals if this relationship continues?

OPENESS
- Do you and your partner express negative feelings of guilt, anger, depression?
Do you and your partner freely express positive feelings of love and affection?

VIGOR
- Is the intensity of the relationship one sided?

ENRICHMENT
- Do you like the way you act whilst in this relationship?
Do you believe that you have matured in it?

There are many ways to show that you care:
making friends and enjoying life,
sharing fun in sport and other activities,
sharing feelings about what you want out of life and listening to the other person.
When you are open and honest with your partner
it’s amazing how many feelings you will both share and how close you can feel.

Love and Time

( an old story )

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love.
One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.

When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.
Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?" Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love.
You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.
Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder.
So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going.
When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way.
Realizing how much was owed the elder,
Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?" "It was Time," Knowledge answered. "Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"

Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

14 Things Women Do that Men Hate

I was speaking with a group of friends about relationships one day and decided to ask them about the things that both sexes do that are loved or hated by the other. This is a compilation of the things they said...
1 - Move the boundaries When you make an agreement, women often either don't stick to them or say that they feel differently about the situation and they want to renegotiate.
2 - They generally do not express what is on their minds unless prompted. Why can't she just say she's sad when she is and say she has issues with some thing when she does.
3 - They generally understand guys but disagree with the way that they are so either try to change them or just do not accommodate them.
4 - Comparing their mate to another man in an unfavourable light. The only time it may work is if the man being used for comparison is a role model to their mate.
5 - Wanting to turn the man into a lady by demanding certain kinds of actions. He is not a woman!
6 - Demeaning his interests and hobbies Some ladies belittle their husbands interests and actively try to wean them from them (for instance football), while simultaneously trying to get the man to take a deep interest in their hobbies and also participate. The end message that is often communicated is "I don't care about your interests but you had better care about mine if you love me".
7 - Slob culture from the lady - just generally unclean or untidy. Most men like a woman who can manage her environment.
8 - Discussing the man with her friends.
9 - Nagging.
10 - Listening with a vacant shut-up-so-I-can-talk-too expression. Many men are put off by a girl who carries that kind of expression while they are talking. Men do not always share their feelings in the way that ladies expect, so when he talks about something that is important to him and she interrupts to raise a subject that is not relevant to the matter at hand, it may generate cracks.
11 - A lady not recognising that in a conversation, men are solution oriented rather than conversation oriented. Don't get irritated because he doesn't want a 3-hour talk when he can see a quick solution.
12 - Spend all day looking in the mirror - and still not look any different!
13 - Getting paranoid about the way they look If he didn't like the way she looks, he wouldn't be with her.
14 - Insecurity when out together Men don't like women saying things like "you fancy her" and "she's far better looking than me". Stop saying it. It irritates them to bits. Ladies are we really committing these relationship no-nos and driving our men bonkers?
If you find yourself doing any of the things above, give yourself a smart rap on the knuckles. Hopefully the pain will bring you back to order.

Tips on Newly Wed Couple

Grooms :

Rule.No.1 - Never compare your mama's cooking with your wife's! There is no faster way to dig your own grave than that!
Please understand that your mom's cooking has the backing of 20 odd years of experience.. ..don't expect that from your wife whose hardly into the process! What if she were to compare your earning capacity with her dad's!!! So shshshhhhh.. ..!!!

Rule.No.2 :
Never go out of your way to please the lady with flowers, chocolates and gifts during your engagement period. If ever you do , please follow it up post-wedding too!
When you could cover 20kms in 15 minutes when you are engaged just to spend some time with her, how dare you forget her birthday post - marriage, even after you are given the broadest of hints by her!
Remember expectations always double...ever heard of them being halved???

Rule.No.3:
Do compliment her every now and then, verbally or with gifts! What are those lovely Teddies and Archies gift cards for? Don't sit there like the Lord Of The Rings expecting to be waited upon! Of course she will do it but everyone likes to be appreciated and pampered!!!!

Rule.No.4:
This is very important! Sulking or complaining about marriage being a big mistake is a strict NO -NO!! You got into it with your eyes wide open, brimming with enthusiasm!! No one ever pushed you into it! So why this drama now!

Rule.No.5:
Be Brave and take your own decisions and stand up by them!! Consult your parents for advice but realise that you are grown up enough to lead your life! Respect your partner's views at all times! Remember she has given up a lot more to make a life with you!!

Brides :

(Don't know how many will take it in the right sense. But still...)

1.
Don't expect too much from him. Less the expectations lesser the disappointments.

2. Don't ever dare to plan any outing or movie on a day when there is an interesting sport match going on. REMEMBER SPORTS is more important to him than anything else. You spoil his day and He spoils yours.

3.
Over Emotions, Sentiments.. . Woha... What are these? Tears are not going to give any results either. It's just a temp. attention that u get. No one likes Cry Babies m Whining Wifes.

4.
Never dare to cross with his mother.Even if he says "My Mom's cooking is the best. U are nothing in front of her." take it easily with a smile. Tell him that u are learning from his mother and will try to do it better. U are not gonna lose anything!

5. Try to know his friends and understand that they are also part of his world.Allow him to spend few weekends or occasional night out parties with his friends.
But at the same time make sure that u get u r due importance! It must not be that he roams arnd with his friends forgetting that you exist at home.

6.
Don't start fighting for silly things.Forgetting birthdays n Anniversaries is not a big mistake. Men are not blessed with 2 GB RAM for storing everything in main memory.
If you are very particular about present gifts n parties on u r birthdays n anniversaries. make sure u remind them well in advance by some means (I know it sounds stupid. But if u are so particular, Do it for u r own good)

7. Take him for your shopping only if he's interested. If you are going for Window Shopping, Better go with your friends/go alone. He is better at office/home watching sport.

8.
Give him importance always. Show due care and affection. That' s the only way to win a guy's mind.

Valentines Day Gift Ideas

Chocolate: Does she like it? If not, then obviously skip this traditional gift. Does she have a favorite brand? Or favorite ingredient? Whatever your answers to those questions, do not buy shrink wrapped, generic chocolate.
We are not a big fan of the heart shaped, fake lace and Elvis velvet. You know what I am talking about.
Now avoid it! A simple, elegant box with a nice ribbon is much classier.

Flowers: Does she like flowers? (Remember some people are allergic to certain flowers) Does she have a favorite?
There is not a rule that says you must be red roses. I happen to love yellow roses and it would be a sign to me that my mate understood me if he bought me yellow roses instead of traditional red.

Jewelry:
Now talk about a land mine. If you are determined to buy jewelry, consult her friends and family to find out what she likes and wants if you are not absolutely positive. Good jewelry is an expensive proposition to screw up.
Avoid heart shaped anything…please, I am begging you. The act of giving her the jewelry is saying "I love you," there is no need to tattoo it on her forehead so to speak by giving her a heart shaped necklace she feels obliged to wear all of the time.

Dinner or Brunch:

1. Go where you will both be comfortable

2. Make reservations to avoid waiting

3. If you want to try something new, go somewhere that you both have wanted to try.
4. If you are nervous about a new place and you want the perfect evening, check out the place ahead of time.

5. Be yourself. For example, if you are not a wine expert then ask for help from the staff. We women like a guy who will ask.
Or be daring…don't go out to eat. If you are not a very good cook, order take away from a local establishment (not fast food or pizza) or hire a personal chef, and put your time into setting a beautiful table. She will be very impressed that you made the effort.

Other Gifts:
There is no rule that your Valentine's Day gift has to be heart shaped, red/pink or traditional. I don't recommend buying her a blender or cordless drill, but if there is something that she has really been checking out and you can afford it, then show her that you have been paying attention and go for it.

Travel: Many places offer weekend specials for Valentine's Day, but often are booked well in advance. As an alternative, plan a weekend away at a different time and give this to her as a gift over your Valentine's Day dinner.

Proposals:
OK, we saved this one for last because it is a big one. For some reason, the multitudes feel that proposing on Valentine's Day is the thing to do.
In case you couldn't tell from this article, I am encouraging you to think out of the box. Valentine's Day proposals have come to be expected. Why not be different, propose at a random time and really surprise her.
However, if you feel that you must succumb to the pressure, do it right. Follow all of our tips above and crank them up a notch.
Again, be creative but classy. You want her to remember this special time.
So here you are at the end of the article and about ready to chuck in the towel.
Don't! We know you can do it. Take a deep breath, do not wait until the last minute and if it all seems a bit too overwhelming, call in help.
Use your resources and make this a truly special day that is only the beginning of a truly special year of romance.

Dealing With a Break- up !!

One day it seems as if you are on top of the
world and then the next your relationship hits a brick wall and it is over.
There are many questions running around in your mind. How long will it take for happiness to return? What went so drastically wrong?

The truth is a break-up can be a very emotional time and it will usually take many months to get over the feeling of loss. A break-up is a drastic change in your lifestyle.
The ways to mend a broken heart is to not dwell on the past and try to get on with your life.

It is OK to grieve, but do not let it consume your entire thoughts. Look back on the relationship and see what you can learn from it, so you don’t make the same mistakes again.
Get on with your life and try to stay busy.
Join a sport, start a hobby, go out more with your friends. You need to get a sense of yourself back.
Now that you are single, you are free to do the things you like without having to worry about someone else and how your actions affect them.

You will be surprised how staying active will keep your mind off your ex. You will also meet many new people and these will help you gain back some self-esteem enabling you to get over your ex.
Take down all the pictures and items which remind you of your ex. Pack them away in box and leave it alone. That way you are not constantly reminded of them.
Also make sure you eat right and exercise. This will help promote a feeling of well being.

Rebound from your relationship when you are ready. Don’t jump into a relationship just to be in a relationship.
When you feel the time is right you will be able to move into a new relationship and start things anew.

Embrace Imperfection

The Secret to a Lasting Marriage

When I was a little girl, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work.

On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage, and extremely burned toast in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet, all my dad did was reached for his toast, smiled at my mom, and asked me how my day was at school.

I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that toast and eat every bite! When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the toast.
And I'll never forget what he said: "Baby, I love burned toast."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his toast burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Debbie, your mommy put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides, a little burnt toast never hurt anyone!"

In bed that night, I thought about that scene at dinner...and the kindness my daddy showed my mom. To this day, it's a cherished memory from my childhood that I'll never forget. And it's one that came to mind just recently when Jack and I sat down to eat dinner.

I had arrived home late...as usual...and decided we would have breakfast food for dinner. Some things never change, I suppose! To my amazement, I found the ingredients I needed, and quickly began to cook eggs, turkey sausage, and buttered toast.
Thinking I had things under control, I glanced through the mail for the day. It was only a few minutes later that I remembered that I had forgotten to take the toast out of the oven!
Now, had it been any other day -- and had we had more than two pieces of bread in the entire house -- I would have started all over.

But it had been one of those days and I had just used up the last two pieces of bread. So burnt toast it was!
As I set the plate down in front of Jack, I waited for a comment about the toast. But all I got was a "Thank you!" I watched as he ate bite by bite, all the time waiting for some comment about the toast.
But instead, all Jack said was, "Babe, this is great. Thanks for cooking tonight. I know you had a hard day."
As I took a bite of my charred toast that night,
I thought about my mom and dad...how burnt toast hadn't been a deal-breaker for them. And I quietly thanked God for giving me a marriage where burnt toast wasn't a deal-breaker either!

You know, life is full of imperfect things...and imperfect people. I'm not the best housekeeper or cook. And you might be surprised to find out that Jack isn't the perfect husband! He likes to play his music too loud, he will always find a way to avoid yard work, and he watches far too many sports. Believe it or not, watching " Golf Academy " is not my idea of a great night at home!

But somehow in the past 37 years Jack and I have learned to accept the imperfections in each other. Over time, we have stopped trying to make each other in our own mold and have learned to celebrate our differences. You might say that we've learned to love each other for who we really are!

For example, I like to take my time, I'm a perfectionist, and I'm even-tempered. I tend to work too much and sleep too little.Jack, on the other hand, is disciplined, studious, an early riser, and is a marketer's dream consumer.
I count pennies and Jack could care less! Where he is strong, I am weak, and vice versa.
And while you might say that Jack and I are opposites, we're also very much alike.
I can look at him and tell you what he's thinking. I can predict his actions before he finalizes his plans.
On the other hand, he knows whether I'm troubled or not the moment I enter a room.
We share the same goals. We love the same things. And we are still best friends.
We've traveled through many valleys and enjoyed many mountaintops. And yet, at the same time, Jack and I must work every minute of every day to make this thing called "marriage" work!

What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other's faults - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences - is the one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting marriage relationship.

And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your married life and lay them at the feet of GOD.
Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a marriage where burnt toast isn't a deal-breaker!

Have a great day! May God bless your marriage.

3 Reasons to Break-up with Your Boyfriend

1. YOU ARE AFTER TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS
A relationship cannot survive if the two parties involved are not after the same things. If you want to be in a serious committed relationship, but your boyfriend is thinking of it as a more casual type of situation, then you are setting yourself up for disappointment.
Don’t put yourself in the perfect position to get hurt. If you are looking for a potential husband, then you should be dating a man who is looking to settle down.
If you are focused on your career right now and not on fostering a long-term romance, then you shouldn’t be with a man who is focused on taking your relationship to the next level of commitment.
It doesn’t make any sense to pair yourself up with a guy who has different intentions than you do.
After you have been dating someone exclusively for a while, you should have a talk about where your relationship is headed and where both of you want to see it going.
The reason that you should wait a little while, like a couple of months, before you have the “where is this relationship headed” talk is because you need to give yourself time to figure out your feelings, and so does your boyfriend.
Until the two of you have established yourselves as a couple, it is too soon to make a judgment about your desires for the future. Remember, just because you decide that you think that this relationship is worth taking to the next level, that doesn’t mean that the relationship is certainly going to last – it just means that you are both willing to find out.
If you have the talk and you find out that he is not interested in making things more serious and you are, then you will be able to spare yourself of further hurt feelings by ending the relationship. If you don’t talk about what the two of you want, then you are going to wind up putting your heart on your sleeve for nothing.
Even if the talk doesn’t go the way you wished it would have, it is still better to find out what your boyfriend’s intentions are so that you don’t waste your time in a relationship with someone who is not on the same page as you.

2. ABUSE
You should never stay in a relationship with a man who is physically or emotionally abusive towards you. Physical abuse is not something that you should forgive under any circumstances – you are worth far more than a relationship that involves domestic violence.
Your boyfriend may apologize until he is red in the face, but you have to stay strong and put yourself first. If he hit you once, then you have absolutely no reason to believe him when he tells you that it will never happen again, and you should not stick around to find out.
Second chances are not something that should be afforded to everyone, and violent situations are a prime example of the unforgivable when it comes to a romantic relationship. You deserve better – you deserve someone who will respect you and your safety – not someone who endangers you.
If you are worried that your boyfriend will become physically abusive when you break it off, then do it in a well lit public place, and be prepared to call the police. If he threatens you, you should immediately call the authorities and get a restraining order of protection against him so that your safety is not compromised.
Emotional abuse can hurt just as bad as the physical kind. If your boyfriend is constantly berating you and putting you down, you should break up with him right away. If he tries to control your life by keeping tabs on your every move and monitoring your interactions with family and friends, then you need to get out of the relationship.
You are in the boss of you, no matter what. Your boyfriend has no right whatsoever to dictate your existence and you need to respect yourself enough to leave a man who tries to control and hurt you.

3. LACK OF TRUST
If your relationship lacks trust, then you are better off without the relationship.
Honesty is the most important policy for a happy couple. It is very hard to get over deception. If you are suspicious that your boyfriend has not been faithful to you, then how are you going to enjoy your time together?
First off, figure out why you don’t trust your boyfriend. If it is because you have had boyfriends cheat on you in the past, then you might be behaving unfairly.
You can not transfer your mistrust of one man to another. You have to work on your ability to trust.
If, on the other hand, you have caught your boyfriend in lies or he has been exhibiting signs of infidelity, or if he has cheated in the past and you forgave him but suspect he is up to his old tricks again, then you should break up with him.
Trying to love someone that you do not trust will make you become a jealous and insecure person, and that is not who you want to be.

Are you still Friends with your Ex ?

So What do you think? How far can Be Ex partner be a friend?
Most love stories have similar fates. While some promise a lifetime of togetherness, others decide to part ways to find a new mate.
Irrespective of whether the break up is mutual or one-sided; a lot of people are curious about their ex-lovers wanting sometimes even to reconnect with their loved ones lost. Once the anger settles down, you put all your memories in your back pocket and decide to move on in life. It might take weeks, months or years, but over a period of time you grow as a person and you learn to forgive.
Chaya Majumdar, a marketing executive says, "Your ex lover knows you better than anybody else. You have shared all sorts of moments together. If things did not work out between the two of you as a couple, how does it make sense to lose a guy who was your best friend at one point of time? Though things can't remain same, but what's the harm in being in touch."
The duration may vary, but most of us end up as well-wishers to our ex lovers with the passage of time. If you learn to deal with a separation sensibly, then it's easier to sit across a coffee table with your ex in time.
Psychiatrist Dr Sanjay Chugh opines, "It is quite possible to develop a healthy relationship with your ex as you already share an emotional proximity and comfort level with that person. It requires a great amount of maturity that most of the people lack. The person should be willing to accept the change in the nature of relationship. "
Once a relationship ends, your ex occupies the role of a friend in your life. And just as you share a different chemistry level with all your friends, the dynamics with your ex metamorphoses through time. With some, you confide everything, with others you just kill time and then there are those with whom you go shopping, bowling and share beer pints. So let's check the varied categories of a healthy ex relationship:

She is my best buddy!
Jeten Rawat, a media person says. "In my case, my girlfriend decided to walk out of the relationship. But soon after, we realized that we still miss sharing our sorrows and success with each other. She remains the one with whom I can share anything and everything without even giving it a thought. I know we are not soul mates, but I couldn't find a better friend."
If you are forgiving enough, then it is easy to remain friends, after all, what is the point of living with lots of bitterness?

Some strings attached
Once an affair goes kaput, every part of the relationship definitely can't go back to normal, but if you manage to subtract possessiveness and expectations from the relationship, you will start enjoying whatever is left between you two.
Richa Tyagi, a medical student adds, "My boyfriend was scared of commitment, so after an intense argument I decided to call it off. After almost a year, I entered into a new relationship and that took all the bitterness away from me. I can't say that I am friends with my ex boyfriend, but yes I am in touch with him. He tries to be really nice and flirtatious with me sometimes. Whenever I talk to him I get this feeling that I am better off now and it satisfies my ego somewhere."

Oops! I did it again...
Some couples decide to be in touch even after their break up as there might be some old feelings left or they are just not ready to let go. However, such relationships come with a 'Handle with care' tag.

How can you tell if a guy likes you?

Well, it's quite simple. What I'm going to share with you are some ways to tell if a man likes you. Once you know the clues guys use, you'll probably see that they're are alot of guys making moves on you, you just couldn't tell. Here are ways to tell if a guy likes you:

If he's always being really nice to you.
I know there are alot of nice guys out there. But if a guy is always holding the door for you, telling you how pretty you look, wishing you a good day, asking how your day was, then there's a good chance he likes you.

If you catch a guy always looking at you.
If you're at work and you notice that a certain guy is always looking at you. Then, he likes you. He's probably trying to build up enough courage to come talk to you.

Another way to tell if a man likes you is if he's always being friendly.
Some guys are nervous and shy, so to get to know you, they will try being your friends. If he always wants to hangout, come over to your house, ask if you need anything fixed around the house, or wants to always take you out to eat at lunch time at work, then he likes you.

If a guys is always talking about what he wants in life and his future,
he's telling you because he's interested in you. He's probably also telling you to impress you. It's what guys do to get women interested in them.

Another way to tell that a guy likes you is a tricky one.
If he picks on you all the time or is always giving you "love" taps, he's interested. Guys do this hoping you'll finally get the clue that they like you. If a man is doing any of the five things I outlined, he probably likes you. There are alot of men who are bashful, nervous around women, or playing hard to get like you. When around women they like, men sometimes act foolish or do things that doesn't make any sense.

Now that you know how to tell if a man likes you, the next time you have your eye set on Mr. Right, you'll know if he likes you or not.

Slow Down and Enjoy Relationships

The world is seemingly moving at a faster pace. Everywhere you turn, the pace is quick. Deadlines are moved up, workload is increased, kid’s schedules are packed, to-do lists are long, housework never ends – it’s chaos.
At least it feels this way.
Has the world really sped up? Are there more things happening today than 50 years ago? No, and no.
Some things around us may involve more pressure and feel like it’s moving faster, but many times it only feels this way. Thanks to the Internet and cable we hear about everything that happens, immediately.
Our interconnectedness through technology has helped create the illusion of a faster paced world. It’s also created the illusion of less loneliness and isolation – but there’s nothing that can replace real life connections with other people. Physical contact and interaction is vital.
This loss of contact and the perceived pace of the world produces a feeling of chronic anxiousness and a decrease in the ability to find pleasure in some of the simple things.
Honestly, when was the last time you stopped and took in the smell of fresh baked bread? Or colored with crayons? Or walked barefoot in the grass? Or took a few minutes to just breathe?
No where is the impact of our pace felt more than in marriage and family. It’s extremely difficult to move hurriedly through your day and then slow down enough to enjoy your family or your spouse in the evening.
Some of the reasons marriage and family relationships go through sour patches is the squeezing they get from our schedules, disconnection, and pace. It’s easy to get caught up in other things and have the immediate outweigh the important.

To reverse this, here’s a few ideas to try:
Start small.
No change in life is easy or comfortable. Working to let go of the pace around you and creating your own speed takes time and should be attempted in small, incremental steps. Begin by giving yourself permission to slow down. This may seem like a no brainer, but many people believe they don’t have permission to slow down. You do. Whenever life seems to move too fast, take a deep breathe. Three to five slow, deep breaths will slow everything down.
Leave the office.
And I mean leave the office. Shut off all projects, messages, emails, phone calls and conversations and leave the office at the end of the day. Most everything can wait until the next day, so leave it alone until then. As an added help, create a routine to help you disengage from the office on the way home. Walk down the stairs slowly rather than taking the elevator. Drive down tree lined streets rather than the interstate. Walk or bike home from work if possible. Listen to good music while on the train or bus. Stop by the gym for a workout. No matter which way you transition from work to home, make it intentional. Breathe. Relax. Breathe. Let work go. Then walk through the door to your home and enjoy time with those you love.
Turn off all electronic gadgets.
This one is simple. Turn off the phone. The Internet. The television. Spend time talking, playing games, take a walk outside. The point is, unplug and connect with other humans.
Be 100% present.
This is tough at times. But it also is a source of increased tension in life. When I’m with my kids and have other things on my mind, my kids become a pest and source of frustration – at least that’s the way it plays out. When I’ve got work on my mind, my son’s request to play cars is an annoyance rather than an invitation into the world of imaginative play with my child. Whatever you are doing, focus on being 100% present. Multitasking is impossible anyway. Focus on doing one thing at a time and being 100% present while doing it.
Take a walk.
Make it a priority to walk with your spouse and your kids each day. There’s tremendous benefit to being out in nature, even if it’s nature in the city. Want a sure-fire way to improve your marriage? Walk and talk with your spouse at least 30 minutes a day.
Eat outside.
There’s something great about being in nature. There’s something even greater about sharing a meal with others outside. Head to the park for a picnic, eat on the patio at home or restaurants.
Prepare for your day.
Spend a moment at the end of your day preparing for the next day. Pick out clothes, make lunches, talk with your spouse. Then in the morning, before you jump into your day, take some time a simply sit quietly. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Breathe slowly, meditate, pray. What a great way to start each day. [ Link ]

Be The Perfect Girlfriend

Ever wondered as what would make your man feel special? You might have tried getting him the best of what he can have, but still, does your relationship feel likes its not happening enough? You are at the right place and on the right page as how you can prove to be the perfect girlfriend for the man of your life.

Cook him a chef's special
It is said very fairly that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Try to prepare something with a little effort. Make sure you set the table right, with candles and aromatic senses in the dining room. The moment he returns back from work and sees all the pains you have taken to make him a special dinner, all he will do is rush up to you and kiss you. Believe it or not, this works.

Buy him something
Well we don't ask you to buy a Lamborghini or an estate. Small gifts work miracles. Pamper him by sending him some flowers while he's at work or knit him a sweater for winter. Take notice of the fact that you should personalize everything you buy for him. He will love to own them.

Ask for his help
On weekends, if you have planned to stay back home and your man does not have any other plan; ask for his help in the kitchen while cooking or in the garden. You can even ask him to fix something if broken and he will happily do it for you.

Get together for activities
You shall share all your favorites pass times that you love to do as well as ask him about them. Suppose he likes mountaineering, trekking or surfing, try indulging in those activities along with him. But make sure that he reciprocates and does the same while you plan to do your favorite pass times.

Know his likes and dislikes
Every one of us is choosy about the way we like to lead our lives. It is important for you to know and understand the likes and dislikes of your man. Avoid doing those actions which will annoy him. But if you really need to do them yourself, better ask for his opinion. This will make him feel that you care for his emotions.

Embrace him
It is a typical tendency of men that whenever they are annoyed or had a bad day; they never tend to speak up like women always do. In a situation like this, if your man asks to leave him alone, better do so or rather give him a warm tight hug and leave the room. He will come back to you once he had thought of the proper solution.

Cautions about Early Marriage

It seems strange that anyone would need to offer cautions about early marriage these days, since statistically it seems that most people are actually putting off marriage until they are in their late thirties or even older than that. But there are still those who want to be married at a very young age and unfortunately many turn a blind eye to the unique problems they'll be facing if they go through with such an early marriage. If this sounds like you, what are some things you need to think about and consider before getting into such an arrangement?
First off, keep in mind that many young people have a hard time making a living when they lack employment history. Someone in their very early twenties may have a degree but because of a lack of experience, have a harder time finding a job than others. Financial problems are very common for those who opt for early marriage. Also, many young people lack experience in handling the money they have, and in planning their budget and sticking to it. It's hard enough for mature adults to put money away in savings much less for younger people to control their impulse spending! And many who get into an early marriage have really no idea how much it actually costs to rent an apartment or buy a home, and of all the smaller expenses that go with living outside their parent's house. Utilities, groceries, gas and insurance for the car, health care costs, all of these things add up pretty quick and take quite a toll on the young person's financial situation. Many an early marriage has ended simply because the couple couldn't afford all those responsibilities thrust upon them.

There are also other responsibilities in marriage that many young people are unprepared to handle, and often don't even expect. Most are accustomed to the life of a single person where you go wherever you want to go, whenever you want to, without a care or thought in the world. However, even early marriage means having to consider that other person in your plans and your actions. Failing to call when you're out late or wanting to go out with friends when your spouse wants you at home can cause a lot of arguments between people, especially those who don't know how to handle these types of situations. Those in an early marriage are often surprised at the number of demands put upon them by their spouse and by how quickly an argument can erupt over even minor or small things.

Anyone considering an early marriage would do well to really think seriously about what they're getting into. Marriage between two mature adults is difficult enough, as the statistics on divorce will prove, but an early marriage brings about special conflicts and problems as well. If you want to have a long and successful marriage, you need to consider what problems you and your potential spouse might face, and do so before you actually take those vows.

5 Tips To Attract Good Men

One of the hardest parts of dating is not only finding available men, but also finding the right men for you. Most of us have suffered through at least one relationship we regret, and we don’t want to waste our time with dealing with partners who are never going to develop into a lasting relationship. But what can you do to attract the right man? A lot of it comes down to the way you approach dating in general. Here are some strategies you can use to help weed out the undesirables.

Know What You Want
It is very important to have a clear concept of what you want in a guy before adjusting your dating habits. Think about the things you like to do and what expectations you have of your men. Do you like a guy who provides constant attention, or do you like someone who gives you a little space? This is just one example of the things you should be asking yourself.

Present Yourself Accurately
One key to attracting a man with similar passions and interest is by simply being yourself. It is amazing how many people try to make false impressions about their career, education, or hobbies just to impress someone. While this may work initially, the other person will eventually discover the untruths and this will likely end the relationship. Thus, it is much better to be honest from the start.

Be Unique
Remember that the best men are being sought after by other women as well, so distinguishing yourself from the pack will help you gain an advantage. Don’t ever be ashamed of your hidden talents or pastimes. Sometimes people cover so much of their life up that they come across as shallow or boring. Be proud of what you can bring to a relationship and share it when appropriate. Ultimately, this will make you stand out from the crowd.

Go to the Men
Think about the places you frequent on an everyday basis. Are these the same spots you typically find good people? Stop wasting your time at bars and speed dating events. Instead, focus on places that represent your interests like church, volunteer events, and even the gym. You are much more likely to find a compatible man when you are doing the things you like to do anyway.

Never Settle
As frustrating as dating can be when you are on a cold streak, you should never feel pressured to settle for someone who doesn’t meet your expectations. Besides the fact that it is a waste of time, it could also hurt your chances to meet a better man. Of course it is acceptable to date new people and learn about them, but you also need to know when to let go. You don’t want to send the wrong message to potential suitors who see you with someone else.

Finding a good man could happen anywhere at any time, but there are things you can do to increase your chances. Start by knowing what you want and be proud of what makes you attractive and unique. From there you just need to put yourself in the right situations and distinguish yourself from the competition. Stay persistent and the right men will begin to notice.

10 Secrets Men Keep From the Women They Like

Did you know that men who love you with all their heart actually have secrets they keep from you? It is absolutely true. Here are the ten most common secrets men keep from the women they love:

1. He has an ex-wife. Some men do not want women knowing that they have been married before. They think it means that they cannot make a marriage work or that they are damaged goods.

2. They have children. A man might think a woman doesn't want an instant family or wants to be the first woman to have a child with him. Unless he is a dead beat dad, though, this secret will come out eventually because he will have some kind of contact with his kids.

3. He is seeing a Therapist. No matter what the reason, few people want to admit they're seeing a therapist. But men, in particular, are touchy about letting people know they need help in different areas of their lives.

4. He has a major medical problem. Some men try to hide their illnesses from the women they love because they don't want them to worry or pity them.

5. He is being transferred to another office out of state. Sometimes, men will put off talking about this because it means the relationship will either end or change dramatically.

6. He is planning something big for you. This kind of secret is good. Maybe they're working on buying a house or asking you to marry them. This kind of secret will obviously come out at some point.

7. He is unable to have children. Many men think all women want to have babies. Impotent men will often keep this a secret from women because it makes them seem less of a man therefore may destroy their relationship with you.

8. He is thinking about changing jobs. Some men don't like to tell women that they're going to make a major life change until after they do it.

9. He does not like your parents or friends. Many men will keep things like this a secret because they don't want to cause waves in the relationship.

10. He finds something you do very annoying. Again, men will keep things like this to themselves so as to not start any trouble in the relationship.

The truth is, your man can be in love with you and still keep his little secrets simply because he does not want to hurt your feelings. The only secret that you need to worry about is the one that has to do with any affair he is having.
